Ditto Kids Editorial
editorial illustration
This editorial illustration was created for Ditto Kids, an anti-racist, inclusive magazine for children aged 3-12 and the grown-ups who love them. Ditto Kids serves as an inspiring guide for parents, teachers, and caregivers to foster meaningful change in young children.
The piece is inspired by a Bambara proverb that emphasizes the value of diversity and unity among people. Just as each finger on a hand has a unique function, every individual possesses their own strengths and plays a crucial role in the community. Through this illustration, I've tried to convey the idea that all people, despite their differences, are important and interconnected, working together to achieve common goals.
